| I also thought about posting this speech which is very good. But I decided against it since the speech requires too much cultural background and knowledge about America to be appreciated by the Chinese youth. However, I think the four advices to the graudating seniors given by Faust is universal and worth reading by everyone.

| I remember meeting Academician Zhou at Harvard in the early 80s. I had a Chinese student, one of the very early Chinese government financed scholars, just finishing his ph.d study and wished to do additional training in the US. He took a chance and personally authorized the student to remain abroad with no conditions. Subsequently, the student voluntarily returned to China in 1992 after establishing an international reputation, worked in HongKong and China, and now is a professor in one of the top Chinese Universities on the mainland. Nowadays, it is difficult to imagine the risk Zhou took for such a move. I salute his foresight.
